"Sweetening the community, one slice, one heart at a time"

We believe that our cakes, flowers, and letters can reach & hug parts of you that may feel unseen, unappreciated, unloved or forgotten about. Our signature cake bags are a reminder that you matter and your life has meaning and purpose too. It’s a reminder that you are a gift to this world. It’s a reminder that there is still good in the world and people still care. It’s a reminder that God loves you and you are never alone.

Each slice of cake, every flower tucked with care, every letter sacred, written in love, and each surprise box or bag is touched with a prayer so that when it is received from us to you, love and blessings are passed on from our hands to yours.

We believe that unexpected kindness can change hearts and restore hope back into the lives of the people in our community and can even taste good too!

Who We Are

What  We Do

In a world where many people are tired, overwhelmed or quietly carrying something heavy, we use cake as an invitation to pause, connect, and care for one another. Sometimes all we need is a reminder that we matter. We exist to do just that.

We bake and create delicious experiences that uplift, empower, encourage and love on people in our communities, by spreading love, kindness, and comfort through our surprise cake gifts, establishing sweet connections and creating emotional impact in the lives of those around us.

We create opportunities to love on people in ways they can feel, taste, touch, smell, receive and carry with them forever. It’s more than dessert. It's a declaration of love & compassion, thoughtfully packaged, and shared from one heart to another—because you're worth showing up for.

We are a heart-led, people-centered cakery, intentional about spreading love, joy, care and kindness to the people in our communities. Our belief is simple: people matter—and so does connection. It's about seeing you, right where you are.

We believe in the transformative power of kindness. Our cakes, flowers, and heartfelt notes impact and uplift in ways that leave people feeling seen, loved, valued, appreciated and cared for. It is our way of saying we see you & we're grateful you're here.

Our mission is to reach as many lives, as many hearts as possible, delivering unexpected joy to every person in every neighborhood. We are guided by kindness, rooted in community, and led by hearts that notice and care about each other.

Our Story Begins With My Story

There was a season in my life when I felt incredibly low—quietly carrying all of the broken pieces of me. From childhood trauma to poverty and depression, I moved through the world hurt, lost, feeling unworthy and unloved. I used to believe my life didn’t matter, to the point where I didn’t want to be here anymore. What helped me, what saved me, was Yahweh(God). He pulled me out of that dark place and gave me peace, joy, and a love so profound, it changed me from the inside out.

That season planted a seed; to uplift & encourage someone who may be in their difficult season. Every cake, every letter and flower is an extension of God’s love, grace and compassion, packaged up and hand delivered directly to you, for you. It’s an extension of the love I once needed myself. And if I needed it, then I know so many others need it too. So I gave God my yes.

My bank account was in the negative but I heard God say, serve. I took my eyes off of my situation and I focused on how I could be a blessing to someone else. I asked God, “what do I have? I don’t have anything.” He said, “look at your hands. Look around you.” I know how to bake, so that’s what I did. He said “give it to someone and with it, attach a note to encourage them.”

I went into my kitchen, looked in the cabinets and the refrigerator for what I could find. I had everything I needed to bake a cake except butter. I had run out. After finding a few dollars in my wallet and counting out change from our change jar, I grabbed my keys and went to the grocery store. I wanted to make the gift extra special so I also bought a small bouquet of flowers for $5. I didn’t have enough money for one of those nice Hallmark greeting cards so I handwritten a heartfelt message on an index card & tucked it inside of an envelope.

It wasn’t fancy but I had this desire to uplift & love on someone who may be going through it, starting right here in my community, in my hometown, Salisbury NC. I took what I had(and it wasn’t much) and I baked all of my love, heart and soul into that cake and every cake after that. Every note I wrote was genuine. A real, beating heart behind the pen who remembered what it felt like to be alive but not living.

I realized I didn’t just want to sell cake, but I wanted to offer something more, something meaningful that people would remember long after the cake was gone. I wanted to create an impact. I wanted to build lasting, genuine connections with the people I served. I wanted people to feel special—truly seen, even if just for a moment.

What started with an idea, in my little kitchen, with one 5 quart mixer, and a heart to give, has impacted so many. Not by my own strength, but by God’s spirit & power alone. I am just a vessel. God gets all of the Glory. He saved my life and helped me turn my pain into purpose.

This is soul-food. This is heart work.
