Part Of....

The work I do is getting people to remember who they are and whose they are, but what I came to realize is that I do this work to also remember who I am. I wouldn't be me if I didn't do this work.

For A Long Time...

I didn't know what my purpose was. I always thought I had to be great at something outside of myself. I thought I had to be able to touch it, hold it, play it, mold it. But this highlights ability. And I had many abilities but I still felt like I wasn't fully operating in my purpose or gift.

By Looking At...

All of the gifts and talents around me, I missed what God placed on the inside of me. And it's been there the entire time without me noticing or giving much thought. My gift is my heart. Like camouflage, it was hidden in plain sight.

In Search Of...

My gift, I came across someone who said that your gift is what you DO with the least amount of effort. When I heard that, I thought my gift was in what I did. An to some extent, that is true.

But God...

Also revealed to me that at the very core, your gift is also in your being, not just your doing. Your doing is just an expression of your being. I had to go within to discover who God truly created me to be and what he created me to do.

My Heart Gift...

Is loving & caring for people. A heart who feels beyond what the eyes can see. A heart that creates belonging. A heart that leads with compassion and humility. A heart that brings comfort and warmth into shared spaces. A heart that changes atmospheres and impacts people deeply. That's why the enemy tried his best to break it. Because he knew it was the very thing that made me me.

But Darkness...

Can't smother light. It only amplifies it, making it shine brighter. After all of the hell I went through, I'm still smiling, still joyful, still loving, still standing, still chosen. So in doing this work, I am reminded of who I am.

I Am...

The light bringer. I am a vessel, carrying a light that is not of my own, but of God. My service to others is a daily reminder of my place. I am surrendered to a God and assignment that is far greater than me. My life is not my own. My breath isn't even mine. It's His. I'm just borrowing it.

Beloved, I'll Leave You With This...

Your one and only job should be to discover who you truly are and why you were put here. That's life's ultimate assignment. This life experience is suppose to challenge you, stretch you, grow you, for God's sake, not your own.

We Are Here...

To be of service and to serve a common purpose: To love and care for each other, sharing our gifts, living in peace and harmony, glorifying the Kingdom of God by doing good works unto the Lord.

That's The...

Identity we ought to adopt. That's the nature we should put on every morning. You are the light. Don't let this world dim it.

So, I ask you. Who are you & what are you here to do? What experiences do you want to create? Not only for yourself, but most importantly for others? THAT is where your gifts are found.
